Decision

That the minutes of the meeting of the planning committee held on 19 November 2013 be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

Recommendation to Council

That the recommendations in the report be approved subject to an amendment to (ii) that the Plan be published to include those changes previously agreed by the North York Moors National Park Planning Committee and considered by Members at the meeting.

The Head of Planning & Housing submitted a list (previously circulated) of the applications for planning permission with recommendations there on.

13/01088/MFUL - Erection of 2no. semi-detached three-bedroom dwellings, terrace of 3no. two-bedroom dwellings, 2no. one-bedroom flats, 1no. four-bedroom dwelling and 2no. semi-detached two-bedroom bungalows with parking spaces, amenity areas and vehicular access road.

Contrary to Ryedale Plan – Local Plan Strategy, Policy SP3 – Affordable Housing – Scheme considered by Members to exceed proven local need.

In accordance with the Members’ Code of Conduct Councillors Mrs Goodrick and Mrs Sanderson declared a personal non pecuniary but not prejudicial interest.

13/01235/FUL - Change of use and alteration of stable block to form a one bedroom holiday cottage, to include erection of a single storey extension to south elevation and installation of 3 no. rooflights to north elevation.
