The minutes from the meeting held on 9 March 2020 were agreed.

To receive notice of any urgent business which the Chairman considers should be dealt with at the meeting as a matter of urgency by virtue of Section 100B(4)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972.

There was no urgent business.

There were no declarations of interest.

To consider a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of applications under the following items as provided by paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972.

The public interest test has been considered and, in all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption is considered to outweigh the public interest in disclosing the information.

It was agreed to exclude the press and public from the meeting during consideration of applications under the following items as provided by paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972.

That the recommendations contained in Annex 1 (Community Grant Applications) be presented to the Chief Executive for approval under Urgency Powers, after consultation with the Leader.

That the recommendations contained in Annex 2 (Section 106 Grant Applications) be presented to the Chief Executive for approval under Urgency Powers, after consultation with the Leader.

Jos Holmes updated the Working Party on the current situation with the Section 106 funding for the Malton Community Sports Centre.

Members noted the update.

There was no other business, so the meeting closed at 6.05pm.
