Information about Planning Committee

The District is covered by a single Planning Committee to exercise the Council’s function as the Local Planning Authority, apart from those areas that fall within the North York Moors National Park (NYMNP).

 

The NYMNP is the Planning Authority for all areas within the National Park. Ryedale District Council nominates councillors to sit on the on the Park Authority's planning committees.
