On behalf of the Committee, the Chair offered condolences and sincere sympathy following the recent passing of Honorary Alderman Allin Jenkins.

 

The Committee held a one minute silence in his memory.

Members making a declaration of interest at a meeting of a Committee or Council are required to disclose the existence and nature of that interest.  This requirement is not discharged by merely declaring a personal interest without further explanation.

Members to approve and recommend the Council's revised statement of Principles of Gambling

The Senior Licensing Officer presented his report.

 

Members considered the report.

 

There were no questions from members to the Officer.

 

It was moved from the Chair and seconded by Councillor Potter to recommend the revised Statement of Principles for Gambling 2023-2026 to Council.

 

Recommendation

 

It is recommended to Council that:

 

(i)            Members agree to the adoption of the revised Statement of Principles for Gambling 2023-2026.
